My little face

Materials You Need:  None

What You Can Do Together: Your baby begins to learn to communicate and use her/his language within the first weeks of life. With this activity, he will begin to feel parts of their face and recognize their names and functions.

To start, sit in a comfortable place and sit your baby on your lap in front of you. Recite or sing the following song while touching the different parts of her/his body:

‘Head Shoulders Knees & Toes’ Head,

shoulders, knees and toes (knees and toes)!

Head, shoulders, knees and toes (knees and toes)!

Eyes, and ears, and mouth, and nose! Head, shoulders, knees and toes (knees and toes)!

What Your Child is Learning:  This game reinforces the recognition of facial features, develops sensory pleasure, social interaction and knowledge of different parts of the body from an early age.
