What You Can Do Together: This is a language development exercise you can complete with your baby. 

Each response from your little one must be accompanied by a smile, movements, babbling, sounds or words. Follow the conversation using facial gestures and by changing the tone of voice according to the conversation that is taking place. 

This can be done when changing him/her, bathing him/her or at suitable times to establish this communicative bond. If the baby is not up to this conversation, don't force him/her. 

What Your Child is Learning: It helps your baby understand the rules and rhythms of language at an early age and provides a foundation for understanding how the world works. Repetition helps children remember words, while learning relationships between words helps them to build a picture of the world. In addition to stimulating language, the conversation will strengthen the affective bond between both
