Tat’s Game

Materials You Need:  Box, bucket or tub; objects of different sizes.

What You Can Do Together: Before starting, be sure to prepare the space where you will play with your little one — remember that it must be comfortable and safe. Sit your child in a chair or on the floor on a soft rug or blanket.

First, show them the objects and let them become familiar with them, then show your little one that they can throw them into the bowl. When an object falls into the bowl, make a motivating sound (“tat”) and invite them to repeat it.

If an object falls out of the bowl, you can make surprising sounds and encourage your little one to welcome mistakes.

What Your Child is Learning:  With this activity, you will help your little one with their hand-eye coordination and recognise various objects when picking up and placing them inside a container.
