Take Hat Off

Materials You Need: Various hats of different sizes or shapes; one chair.

What You Can Do Together: Place your little one sitting on a chair or a comfortable surface. She can be sitting on the floor, sit in front of her and start the activity.

Put on your hat first and tell her: “look at Mommy with the hat!” This is a hat, followed by that instruction, take off your hat and tell her: “Now it's your turn!”

Place the hat on your little one's head and tell her: now take it off yourself, and you can mimic how the hat should be removed. At this age, you must celebrate his triumphs. When she takes off his hat, you can applaud or say: “Very well done!” Another method would be for you and your little one to have a hat and for both of you to take it off at the same time, or for her to take it from you and you from her.

What Your Child is Learning: This activity will help your little one to strengthen motor movements, develop social interaction and language skills. Your child learns to sit without any support.
