Upside Down World

Materials You Need: Colourful toys; Sheets with images; Objects with light or sound.

What You Can Do Together: Before you start, you should prepare the materials you will use, such as coloured toys, cards with pictures or colourful objects that make sounds. These items should be placed in a specific area in the room. You can put these objects in different areas to have stations.

Now hold your baby and explain that you are going to play, then give her/him a kiss.

Hold your baby with her/his face facing the ground, be sure to support their head, neck and body as you do so. Walk slowly around the room and describe everything your baby can see, then return her/him to the original position and give them a smile with positive encouragement.

After a few minutes, repeat the action, but this time your baby should look for a station with objects on the floor. Draw your baby's attention to an object so he/she can see it from above.

Once again, let her/him rest and congratulate your baby on having accomplished the exercise. You can repeat this activity two or three times, allowing a break to rest between each repetition.

What Your Child is Learning: This fun game helps stimulate your baby's sense of sight, concentration, balance and security.
