First trip with the baby

If you are traveling with the baby for the first time, a good travel plan and organization are important. In order for your baby to be safe, transport him/her in a certified and properly installed car seat, appropriate for his/her the age, and make sure the baby is properly buckled every time.
Body

When the baby is 2 months old and has no health problems, you can set off. The most comfortable trip with a baby is in a car.

The baby in the car seat and one parent should be in the back seat of the car. You should have next to you an additional bag with spare disposable diapers, changing mat, clothes, flat cloth diapers, diaper cream, wet wipes, a bottle of water, a thin blanket and toys.

You may not be able to change the baby in the toilet in rest areas, so always carry a changing mat with you that you can easily spread on the car seat to change the baby's diaper.

If you are not breastfeeding your baby, you need to bring everything you need to prepare formula. It is best to travel early in the morning or late in the afternoon, if you are traveling in the summer. If you are going on a long trip, air conditioning in the car is a necessity (visit the service beforehand). Install sun visors on the car windows.

During the trip, take frequent breaks (every 2 hours) for 30 minutes. Before the break (about 10 minutes), turn off the air conditioning, then open the windows when you stop to avoid the temperature "shock".

It is often necessary to keep the child entertained while driving so as not to disturb the driver; do it with adequate toys. Avoid giving hard toys to a child in the vehicle, as they can injure the child when braking.
